Pricing In Tacos

[caption id="attachment_1266" align="aligncenter" width="490" caption="One Taco = One US Dollar"][/caption]

After having a conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #pubwrite, some other writers and myself thought it would be a good idea to price our ebooks in tacos. So, one US dollar equals one taco. You might be asking why this is the case. Well, here are just a couple of reasons:

  1. The Taco conversion rate is universal. So if someone sells their ebook in the UK, Germany, or another country, a taco is a taco. No need to worry about converting to Euros, Pounds, or the like.

  2. Everybody, and I mean everybody, loves tacos. Find me a person who doesn't like tacos, and I'll tell you they're a liar.

  3. If someone tells you their ebook is $2, you feel like you're losing something. If someone tells you it cost 2 Tacos—well now you smile. It's like that ebook just became the happiest thing on the planet.

I'm sure there are other reasons my fellow #pubwriters could give, and I'll let them post them in the comments below. So, when you see the pricing for any of my ebooks on The Time Capsule, from here on out, I'll price them in Tacos.
